C. Pimblott & Co. was established in July 2000 by Christopher Pimblott, Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor.

About the Principal
Christopher Pimblott has 30 years experience in practice having gained general expertise in all aspects of the owner managed business and specific technical expertise in other areas including:
Prior to setting up C. Pimblott & Co., Chris was a senior manager in a large local accountancy firm in Macclesfield. He was responsible for the day to day delivery of audit, accountancy and taxation services to a wide range of clients with a team consisting of two client service managers and eight support team members serving over 200 clients.
His portfolio of clients ranged from the smaller 'one man' business to medium sized groups of companies, some with overseas connections.

When not battling for client' rights with the taxman or VAT inspector, Chris Pimblott takes to the field in other ways - notably as a Football Referee.
Undeterred at the prospect of being the most unpopular man on the field (accountancy is, at least, a good preparation for that!), Chris has a lifelong interest in football and, when not participating himself, likes to be a spectator at live matches whenever he can spare the time. He follows local team Macclesfield Town as an active supporter.
So there is a full life beyond the spreadsheet for Chris and, so far at least, the physical fitness to go with it! "In business as in leisure," explains Chris, "I just like to make sure that no-one's offside. It is always better to avoid penalties!"
